Study Mimosa APP
How can we build a digital platform that highlights Study Mimosa’s unique design philosophy while placing its collections at the center of the experience?
Context
Overview

Study Mimosa believes that children’s interior design can be a space of sensitivity, calmness, and authenticity. Each collection emerges from an artistic or cultural inspiration, reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective and a poetic soul. The website was conceived to reflect this universe—where design is emotional, meaningful, and deeply connected to childhood. The aim was to create a space where parents can easily explore each collection, understand its concept, and feel how every design is thoughtfully crafted with the child in mind.
Product brief brainstorm
As part of the Product Brief brainstorm, we analyzed key problems and defined clear solutions to guide the structure, navigation, and overall digital experience of the website.

User persona
By having a clear understanding of who our users are, we can develop more effective and tailored solutions. So, we create user personas to ensure that our design decisions align with the real needs of our target audience.

Takeaways
Throughout the design and development of the Study Mimosa website, several insights emerged that shaped both the creative process and the final experience. These takeaways reflect the key lessons learned while building this platform.
Organizing the website around themed room collections helps visitors immediately understand the studio’s offerings and explore designs in a structured, inspiring way.
Highlighting the artistic and cultural inspiration behind each collection creates a meaningful connection with parents, making them feel involved and confident in the design choices.
Creating mind maps early in the project helped organize content, define relationships between collections and ensured that all key information was considered before moving into wireframes.
Developing user personas clarified the needs, goals, and pain points of parents, guiding decisions on navigation and content to create an experience that feels intuitive and emotionally engaging.
